Before installing it I would like to ask some questions:
1) Can I also draw activity diagrams?
2) Can I draw state diagrams
3) Can the C code generation be adapted?

Yes, you can "draw" them and you can generate code for them.
We actually have 5 Different StateChartCoders and an additional is in
development. This depends, on what you want to do with the statecharts.

3) Can the C code generation be adapted?

Astade coders are separate programs which are called from the GUI on
demand. You can configure whatever C++ coder you like and you can
configure whatever C coder you like.
At the moment, we have one C coder and one C++ coder. But as Astade is
open source, you get the source code for the coders, too. So you can
make your own coder, if you like.

If you have special requirements for a coder, maybe you can even
convince me, to do the coder changes for you ;-)
Maybe the changes are even interesting for others?

If you want to try Astade, feel free to ask whatever question. We have a

but this is far from complete :-(
